After 7 years in Australia and over 10 years of teaching experience in both Singapore and Australia, Shane returned to Singapore in 2020 to share his expertise with students and teachers alike. He is passionate about teaching and inspiring children to become creative and musical individuals. Through his teaching approach, many students have developed a keen interest in music and as a result, achieved awards and certifications from ABRSM, Trinity Guildhall, and AMEB.
Shane believes that in our technologically advanced society, children need to acquire technological skills in music that will enhance and develop their interest and love for music. He has taught students, both in Australia and Singapore, to use a simple free app like GarageBand to create music that they love.
